Baton Rouge, Louisiana, January 8, 2026 — Tatro Toys is expanding its world of imaginative, inclusive play and inviting families everywhere to help shape what comes next, starting with a name.

With Flicker now part of the family, the brand is introducing new characters who will soon become part of the Tatro Toys universe. This marks the first time the public will see what these new friends look like. Before their stories officially begin, Tatro Toys is inviting its community to participate in a family-led naming campaign.

“A name begins the story,” said Will Barrios, founder of Tatro Toys. “Names give characters heart, identity, and meaning. By inviting families to help name our newest friends, we’re inviting them into the very beginning of the storytelling process. This is about belonging, imagination, and creating toys that reflect real families and real connections.”

The new characters were developed through months of dreaming, sketching, imagining, and listening, with a focus on curiosity, kindness, bravery, and joy. Families are encouraged to share name ideas, including each character's emotional superpower.

Four participating families will receive Flicker, our very first character in the Tatro Toys family, created to inspire imaginative play and meaningful moments at home.

This community-centered moment reinforces Tatro Toys’ mission to rewrite the toy story, creating play experiences shaped not just for families, but with them.
