In recent weeks Ascend has announced the acquisition of NW Estates in Warrington and Rent Smart in North Manchester, as the company sets its sights on fulfilling an ambitious growth plan that includes acquiring a total of ten estate and letting agency branches within three years.

Of course, one downfall to such an upward trajectory is the requirement for a bigger home to house this workplace family and this week, the precocious McPartlin has unveiled not one but two branch office upgrades.

Ascend’s brand new, larger, flagship offices are at Duncan Street, Leeds and Darlington Street, Wolverhampton and replace their former offices in each town which have been outgrown. Both will open in the coming days.

Eatock Design and Build put together the look and feel of each new branch at a cost of over £100,000 and at a time when many agents, whilst enjoying a buoyant market, are perhaps otherwise being cautious about investing in their businesses.

Managing Director of Ascend Properties, Ged McPartlin, commented:

“Despite the pandemic, we have managed to grow our core business in our already established areas with sales and lettings transactions now significantly exceeding previous years.

We are investing heavily in premises, people, technology and acquisitions whilst others are not - because we believe strongly in ourselves and in the future property market in the areas that we operate in.”
