MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / November 12, 2019 / Global engineering, design and advisory company Aurecon will host live interviews for its chart-topping Engineering Reimagined podcast at the World Engineers Convention in Melbourne from 20-22 November.
More than 3000 engineers from around the world are expected to attend the convention that is only held once every four years. 2019 marks the first time the event will be held in Australia, hosted by Engineers Australia. At the World Engineers Convention, the profession’s best and brightest will explore how engineers can help solve complex problems and design a sustainable world, with convention themes aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Hosts from Aurecon will interview a number of esteemed speakers across the World Engineers Convention program on topics ranging from the digitisation of assets and infrastructure, to creativity and innovation in engineering and the role of engineers in the corporate world. We will also explore why engineers of the future will be philosophers, the future of energy including the role of renewables in remote areas, planning for flying cars and more. A highlights episode will be published in December 2019 before the interviews are released for Season 2 of Engineering Reimagined throughout 2020.
Interviewees include Prof David Cropley from University of South Australia, Leeanne Bond, Breakthrough Energy Pty Ltd, Tim Mumford, Office of Projects Victoria, Chris Dalitz, Essential Energy and Lachlan McLeod, Ekistica.
Aurecon Managing Director – Design, Innovation & Eminence Dr Kourosh Kayvani said the podcast would reflect the rich fusion of ideas, innovation and issues discussed by industry and academic experts at the World Engineers Convention.
