Headlined by Banda El Recodo - founded in 1938 by Don Cruz Lizárraga and named for El Recodo, Sinaloa - the bill brings substantial legacy value to the date while reinforcing AVA Amphitheater’s ability to program established, culturally resonant acts. The lineup also includes Los Recoditos, founded in Mazatlán in 1989 by musicians tied to Banda El Recodo, and Mi Banda El Mexicano, the Mazatlán-rooted act whose history traces back to 1973 and a later rebrand that helped define its identity in the technobanda era.

The three-act concert brings together established audience appeal, strong cultural resonance and a format well-positioned for Southern Arizona’s regional Mexican market.
