Courtney Pulitzer is celebrating two years as Public Relations Director at Sandoval Creative, the Tucson-based, family-owned marketing agency where she joined in July 2024. Over the past two years, Pulitzer has led the agency's PR function through a deliberate transformation: from a reactive, request-driven service to a proactive, strategy-first practice built around media relationships, measurable results, and long-term brand storytelling.

Since stepping into the role, Pulitzer has managed public relations for a strikingly diverse client roster including organizations in the financial, gaming, home decor, and pools industries, while also lending her expertise for an access and accessibility non-profit, a large-scale art installation company, a New York-style delicatessen in Tucson, and the Junior League of Tucson, among others. This range reflects the same cross-industry approach she built over a two-decade career founding Courtney Pulitzer Creations and the nationally recognized Cocktails with Courtney event series.

Highlights from Pulitzer's tenure include:

• Driving measurable year-over-year results for key clients: media coverage grew 29% for one gaming-industry client, and for a credit union client, coverage more than tripled with mentions up 233%, impressions up 417%, and advertising value equivalency (AVE) up 482% to $14 million.
• Sustaining an active, ongoing practice of submitting clients for industry awards — with 24 total award entries prepared across 4 client accounts, supported by 75 pieces of supporting documentation.
• Rebuilding the agency's PR process around proactive media relationships and forward-planned campaigns rather than one-off, reactive placements.
• Bringing an established national media network with prior features in The New York Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN to client visibility and credibility.
• Serving as Membership Chair for PRSA Southern Arizona, where she initiated and produces a monthly "Coffee Meetup" open to both PRSA members and non-members.
