HOUSTON, TX, USA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / March 06, 2025 / Deutsche Windtechnik secures repowering and O&M contracts for Eurus Energy America's 179 MW Bull Creek wind farm.

Deutsche Windtechnik (DWT), a global independent service provider for renewable energy assets, is pleased to announce it has been awarded the repowering and post-repower operation & maintenance (O&M) contracts for Eurus Energy America’s 179 MW Bull Creek Wind Farm. This repowering project will revitalize the wind farm while adhering to the guidelines of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA).

Bull Creek Wind Farm consists of 179 Mitsubishi MWT-1000A wind turbines located in Borden County, Texas. The repowering project is set to be completed and commissioned by the end of 2025. The wind asset will continue to be operated and maintained by DWT under the post-repower O&M contract, bolstering Eurus’s commitment to sustainable energy and furthering the growth of clean, affordable power in the region.

The IRA includes substantial provisions for promoting sustainability and renewable energy solutions. Under IRA’s 80/20 repowering regulation, wind asset owners are able to retrofit and upgrade wind turbines, in an effort to continuing to provide environmental and economic benefits to their customers and local communities.
