Founded in Australia in 2006 as Imaging Partners Online before evolving into Everlight Radiology in 2014, the organisation has grown into one of the world’s largest teleradiology providers, supporting hospitals and healthcare providers across the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The anniversary campaign celebrates not only the company’s growth, but also the wider transformation of teleradiology over the past two decades, from an emerging support service to an essential component of modern healthcare delivery.

Everlight Radiology chief executive officer Rob Anderson said the milestone represented an opportunity to reflect on how far the profession and the business have evolved.

Today, Everlight Radiology works with over 350 hospitals and healthcare providers worldwide and has a global network of over 850 consultant radiologists delivering around-the-clock reporting support. The company says its “follow the sun” model enables radiologists to report during normal waking hours from different international time zones, helping healthcare providers maintain access to urgent and routine imaging interpretation 24 hours a day.

The “20:20 Vision” celebrations are designed to reflect both the company’s history and its future ambitions as demand for radiology reporting support continues to grow globally.

Everlight’s story began with a vision to use technology to connect radiologists across geographical boundaries and provide hospitals with reliable access to specialist expertise outside traditional working hours.

That vision accelerated following the company’s expansion into the UK market through its partnership with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2010, initially operating as Radiology Reporting Online before rebranding as Everlight Radiology.

Since then, the organisation has continued to expand internationally, opening reporting hubs and operational centres across multiple regions, including South Africa and Dubai.

The company has also invested heavily in education and professional development through its everlearning platform, launched in 2015, alongside ongoing investment in workflow technology, AI-enhanced reporting support and clinical governance programmes.

The milestone comes at a time of increasing pressure on radiology services worldwide, with healthcare systems facing growing imaging demand and ongoing workforce shortages.

Everlight says the role of teleradiology has evolved significantly over the last two decades, moving beyond after-hours emergency reporting to become a strategic extension of radiology departments supporting both urgent and elective imaging workloads.

The company now delivers approximately two million radiology reports annually and says its focus remains on supporting healthcare providers with sustainable access to consultant radiology expertise.
