LEADING CANCER AND ENVIRONMENTAL EPIDEMIOLOGIST, PAOLO BOFFETTA, MD, MPH, JOINS CARDNO CHEMRISK IN COLLABORATIVE ADVISORY ROLE

Brooklyn, NY – Cardno is pleased to announce that Dr. Paolo Boffetta, MD, PhD, has aligned with the firm as Cardno ChemRisk Distinguished Fellow. 

Currently Professor of Medicine, Environmental Medicine, Oncological Sciences, and Global Health at the Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai’s Ichan School of Medicine, Dr. Boffetta is an internationally renowned cancer and environmental epidemiologist. Widely recognized in health research, disease prevention and regulatory science, he has an expansive publication record and has served on numerous international, government, and academic expert panels and committees.

Dr. Boffetta is also a Full Professor at the Department of Medical and Chirurgical Sciences at the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy, a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and the European Academy of Health Sciences and the Italian Society of Public Health.

Dr. Boffetta lives in New York City and in Italy, and will be affiliated with the firm’s Brooklyn, NY office.
