Fantastic news for the building trade in Yeovil this week, as MKM Building Supplies, the UK’s largest independent builder’s merchant has opened the doors of a brand new, state-of-the-art branch bringing all building needs under one roof and creating 22 jobs.

The new branch, which is located at George Smith Way – Lufton, is designed to be a one-stop shop to local building trade, offering a wealth of expertise and an extensive range of products.

From 5 August, MKM Yeovil will welcome trade and retail customers to showcase a wide range of building essentials for roofing, joinery, timber supplies, kitchens and bathrooms.

The branch also offers a range of services including under floor heating, roofing take off, a brick matching service, as well as free measure and 3D design services for kitchens and bathrooms.

The outlet is part of the MKM’s ambitious expansion plans, which have taken on significant momentum over the past few years. Fast-growing MKM has added 15 new branches to its network in just over two years making Yeovil the 64th branch, with 4 more planned this year.

MKM Yeovil is headed up by an experienced industry trio including; Paul Costello, Nathan Cassidy and Mike Towill all with many years expertise working within the trade.

Paul Costello has 42 years industry experience, having spent his early career at a local timber merchant and over 30 years with a local builders merchant.
