New Book Uses Scientific Fact and Logic to Prove the Existence of God

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- Financial analyst, bank CEO, North American bridge champion, and now author Richard Krauland knows a thing or two about analyzing the parts and coming up with the whole picture. Now, in his exceptional new book Enlightened in the 21st Century, he brings together his science and mathematics background to prove the existence of God and dispel certain scientific and political theories.

In a world full misinformation and misconceptions, Krauland has done the job of wading through the information for us, to offer facts that are hard to argue against. He talks about climate change, cellular structure, economics, and of course, the existence of God in an easy-to-read guide for the unconvinced.

“I believe in science,” says Krauland. “Being well-grounded in the truth is absolutely necessary for a successful life as a free person.”

“Using the simple tool of logical deduction, Krauland meticulously builds cases against many of the ideas that he says are threatening the future of our country.”

John J. Kelley, Detroit Free Press

In a warm and conversational manner, Krauland gives you the tools to work your way to God through logical deduction. Using research and facts, Krauland tears apart the untruths and “theories” with real, hard science.

“Fake science only pollutes and conceals the search for truth, thereby making the truth more difficult to find,” he says. And he has a message he wants to share:

“God is real, God is aware of each of us, God is available to help if we ask Him,” says Krauland. “If you know God then you can truly believe that there’s nothing to worry about because He has your best interest in mind. If you go through life without fear, it’s amazing what you can accomplish.”

“In a warmly honest approach, Richard shares his passion for real science and for the Christian concept of the meaning of life.”

– Grady Harp, Amazon Hall of Fame Top 100 reviewer

Struggling to make sense of everything from politics to religion, Krauland found himself alone one night, wondering where his future was headed. Then he started reading the gospel of Matthew and it changed his life.

“I was reborn that night when I read the gospel of Matthew,” says Krauland. Now, after surviving two life-altering illnesses and an accident that temporarily paralyzed him from the neck down, Krauland wants to share what he has learned with others. What started as a series of letters to his children soon grew into the book it is now.

Krauland talks about cells and how they all “know” to work together to make our bodies function; about how we’ll never really know what the smallest particle is because everything is made up of something; about the expanding universe, and the changing climate. He even discusses economics, and how if we know God cares about us, it’s easier for us to help others knowing we will be helped as well.

“I have no hesitation in highly recommending this thought-provoking book, and I challenge anyone with an inquisitive mind not to find it absolutely fascinating.”

- Susan Keefe, Midwest Book Review

Practicing what he believes, Krauland is a big giver. He regularly volunteers and serves on the boards of his local YMCA, Salvation Army, Rotary, Industrial Development authority, and more. He also sits on the local chapter of the Carson Scholars Fund Board, where he works alongside Housing and Urban development Secretary Ben Carson offering scholarships to children in need.

“It is my hope that this book can tear through that wall of these misconceptions so that people can see the truth of God’s presence in their lives,” says Krauland. “We can make the world a better place.”

About Richard Krauland: Richard Krauland describes himself as a philosopher by nature, a mathematician by education, and a builder of a billion-dollar-plus company by profession. He is a firm believer in science, and has used his science and mathematics background to sift through the fake theories and prove the existence of God through logic and deduction. In his groundbreaking new book, Enlightened in the 21st Century, he also weighs in on climate change, economics, and many of the worries plaguing our society.

Krauland has suffered from two lifelong illnesses, and was once temporarily paralyzed from the neck down in an automobile accident. Despite this, he has learned not to fear what life brings, and instead trust in God for all things.

When he’s not writing, Rich volunteers with many community organizations, including the YMCA, the Salvation Army, the Rotary Club, and sits on the local board of Carson Scholars Fund with U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, to fund scholarships for underprivileged kids. Rich loves to play Bridge, and he and his brother once took 2nd place in the North American Bridge championship.

Rich has been married for forty-four years to Mary, the woman he met in a calculus class. They have two children, both of whom are scientists and engineers. They reside near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Visit his website at enlightenedinthe21stcentury.com.

Excerpts from Enlightened in the 21st Century

The purpose of this book is to open people’s minds, to help them tear down the walls that have separated them from God.

By tearing through non-science’s veil of credibility, we can open our mind to the truth of God’s reality, and God’s presence in our lives.

I am convinced that most of the problems in the world today are a result of people like us, and especially our leaders, making very bad decisions.

The truth becomes easily recognizable for enlightened people.

I believe that being well-grounded in the truth is absolutely necessary for a successful life as a free person.

Each person has their own definition of reality.

I think it’s an interesting fact that every scientific theory that mankind has ever had has been proven to be false, except for the theories that we currently hold to be true.

If you think about it, there cannot possibly be a “smallest particle.”

Everyone should believe in science.

No person will ever know, for a scientific fact, exactly how life began on earth.

Climate change was originally known as global warming. But as the real science measurements failed to show the expected rise in global temperatures, the name was changed.

Today, CO2 is only about 0.0004 of the total gasses in our air.

Virtually all of the alarm about climate change is driven by predictions of future temperature increases.

My conclusion is that we should all relax. Count our blessings. And stop worrying about what flawed predictions are telling us.

The big bang is clearly not a scientific fact.

Fake science only pollutes and conceals the search for truth, thereby making the truth more difficult to find.

Something, or someone, has organized all these particles, atoms, molecules, proteins, cells, organisms, and systems, so we can survive and multiply on this earth for the many years of our lives.

The obvious fact is that we live on a garden planet. All we need to thrive is within our reach.

Someone, who I am completely happy to refer to as God, is holding this all together for us.

Selfishness, fear, and anxiety are what fuel our failures to cooperate.

I know it can be extremely difficult for a nonbeliever to make the sincere leap of faith necessary to get to the point of complete faith in God. I’ve made that journey myself.

And because of my own personal experiences I am now certain God is real. God is aware of us. And God will give us everything we need to thrive in this life, and beyond.

One of the great mysteries of life is whether or not there is life after death.

You don’t come from immigrant grandparents, as I did, and rise to be the CEO of a successful company on your own. It takes a whole lot of help along the way – great people who have faith in you and who are willing to work to be a part of that success.
