Comedy psychic Clinton Baptiste brings ‘spooky’ show to Middleton for Halloween
A character made famous by classic television sitcom Phoenix Nights will be on stage at Middleton Arena later this autumn during his UK tour.
Clinton Baptiste, the clairvoyant and psychic who was one of the hapless acts to appear on Peter Kay's smash hit Channel 4 show, is now being introduced to a new generation and brings his live show - ‘The Paranormalist Returns’, to the arena this Halloween (Thursday 31 October).
You are promised an hilarious yet touching journey through Clinton's life, out the other side and beyond the celestial curtains!
The tour comes 18 years after Clinton, played by actor and comedian Alex Lowe appeared in Phoenix Nights, set in a Lancashire social club. More recently, he starred in a sold out 15 night run of Phoenix Nights Live at Manchester Arena in 2015, which raised £5 million for Comic Relief.
A spokesman for the 2019 tour said: "Clinton will give readings to the audience, offering advice from beyond the grave. He will predict your future, tell you about your past and all manner of spooky stuff an’ that. But more, he’ll take you through his demise, his comeback and finally…on this special night, he will attempt to pass over to the other side and return, before the arena want you all out….with the answer!"
Clinton Baptiste – ‘The Paranormalist Returns’, visits Middleton Arena at 7.30pm on Thursday 31 October. Tickets (£18) from www.middletonarena.com or by calling 0300 303 8633.
