AMA Foundation Awards Nominations Now Open


Chicago, IL—Celebrate the achievements and impact of exceptional marketing scholars, educators, and practitioners by submitting a nomination for an AMA Foundation award. These awards recognize individuals whose research, mentoring, scholarship, and leadership continue to advance the marketing discipline, strengthen the academic community, and shape the future of marketing practice and education. 

 

Award recipients will be recognized at the 2026 AMA Summer Academic Conference.


Nominations are now open for the following awards:


Williams-Qualls-Spratlen (WQS) Multicultural Mentoring Award of Excellence

This award recognizes world-class marketing scholars and mentors of people of color who have made significant research contributions and demonstrated a sustained commitment to mentoring students and faculty from underrepresented groups in marketing.

Nomination Deadline: April 12, 2026


Valuing Diversity Ph.D. Scholarship

In partnership with the PhD Project and the AMA Academic Council, this scholarship supports doctoral students from diverse backgrounds on their path to earning PhDs and helps strengthen a more inclusive pipeline of future marketing faculty.

Robert J. Lavidge Global Marketing Research Award

This award recognizes a marketing practitioner or educator who has developed and implemented a research or insight procedure with practical implications for others, advancing marketing research and real-world application.

Charles Coolidge Parlin Marketing Research Award

Established in 1945, this award is the oldest and most distinguished in the field, honoring scholars and practitioners who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and sustained impact on advancing the marketing profession.
