The Showhome Readers’ Awards win marks the first industry accolade for Bute3® an innovative product from Burton on Trent headquartered Russell Roof Tiles. Recognising the company’s continued commitment to developing high-quality roofing solutions for the UK housebuilding sector.

This leading trade publication and media platform is aimed at the residential design and housebuilding industry. The Showhome Readers’ Awards are voted for by readers of Showhome magazine, making the win a strong endorsement from housebuilders, developers and industry professionals.

Russell Roof Tiles recently achieved sales of one million Bute3® tile, marking a huge milestone for the innovative tile, which has rapidly become the company’s fastest-growing tile since launch.

These achievements come less than a year after full production of Bute3® began in June 2025, following an investment of more than £20 million and five years of design, engineering and development.

The tile combines the appearance of traditional plain tiles with a modern interlocking triple-tile format, with a double-cambered design offering quality and strength. With the appearance of 3 separate plain tiles but is installed as one, it helps contractors reduce handling time and improve productivity, speeding up installation, up to 33 per cent faster than comparable small-format products.  Quicker project turnaround times enable contractors to complete developments at a faster pace without compromising quality.
