SAN BERNARDINO, CA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / September 26, 2025 / The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Eliminates Financial Barriers to Long-Term Recovery; No Money or Insurance Is Needed to Enroll.
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.-- For men in the Inland Empire seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction, financial hardship is no longer a barrier to receiving help.
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) in San Bernardino actively welcomes new participants into its 6- to 12-month residential program, which is provided at no cost to the individual.
No money or insurance is required to enroll.
The comprehensive program is designed to help men achieve lasting sobriety and serenity by addressing the root causes of addiction.
It is built on a faith-based, work-therapy, and social-model framework that provides a supportive, structured environment for healing and personal growth.
Participants are guided by a team of experienced counselors, ministers and dedicated professionals committed to their recovery journey.
The program focuses on holistic rehabilitation, helping men restore their self-worth, learn positive coping mechanisms and develop the life skills necessary to re-enter society confidently.
“We believe that every man deserves a chance to reclaim his life from addiction, regardless of his financial situation,” said Monte Mansfield, Intake Coordinator.
“Our doors are open to those ready to make a change. There is hope, and our entire team is here to help you find it. We provide the tools, the community and the spiritual guidance needed for a new beginning,” said Captain Steve Staneart, program director.
The work-therapy component is a cornerstone of the program, providing men with vocational training and a sense of purpose as they contribute to the operations of the Salvation Army’s local Family Stores.
This model not only helps fund the program, allowing it to be offered for free, but also instills a strong work ethic and personal responsibility in participants.
“For men seeking help for themselves or a loved one, the first step is to reach out,” said Captain Staneart.
