UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / March 02, 2022 / Continuing its aim to encourage people in the local area to become more active, Absolutely Fitness in Slough has launched its Free Friends Friday initiative.

Existing members and those who would like to join a gym are able to bring a friend to work out with them and benefit from the facilities for free every Friday after 5pm.

Studies have shown that exercising with people can have health benefits, as it can encourage them to exercise for longer and ramp up the intensity.

Sandra Grochowska, Club Manager at Absolutely Fitness Slough, commented:

“We are continually looking for ways that we can help people in Slough to improve their fitness, and we do understand that for some getting started and the prospect of working out alone can be discouraging. Our Free Friends Friday initiative therefore gives them the chance to join a friend and be active, and if they have been considering becoming a gym member, it also enables them to enjoy a taster before committing.”

Absolutely Fitness is located on Slough Trading Estate.
