Specialist Go Kart Donation Enables Aylesbury Track to Give Free Access to Families
UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 01, 2021 / Rogue Leisure in Aylesbury will be giving children and young adults with additional needs the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of go karting for free after receiving a specially adapted twin-seat kart.
The kart gives young people as much or as little control as they choose whilst being driven around the track by a Rogue Leisure instructor.
The free karting sessions will be run by Absolutely Together, which is part of the Absolutely Leisure Group, a registered charity, and works with families who have children and young adults with additional needs. It aims to put thousands of smiles on faces across the area by giving free access to leisure activities that families can take part in together – something that is not always possible due to financial or physical restrictions.
Following a donation from the Wooden Spoon charity, Absolutely Together purchased a twin-seat kart which allows Rogue Leisure to provide free karting sessions every Sunday morning to the families that Absolutely Together supports. As the track is now fully open again, Rogue Leisure is delighted to be welcoming drivers back, and thanks to the twin-seat kart, every member of the family is able to race against each other.

“Now we a have twin-seat kart at the track, we’re delighted to be able to provide free karting sessions to families across the Aylesbury area. Those supported by Absolutely Together often struggle to find activities to help get a family member with additional needs active, and everyone at Rogue Leisure enjoys welcoming these families and giving them an experience they can all enjoy together.

As well as offering free karting to families who Absolutely Together work, Rogue Leisure also provides free games of bowling. The free activities run every Sunday morning and families who would like to take part simply need to email smiles@absolutely-group.co.uk.
