EVENT RUNS AUGUST 23-25 IN LOUISVILLE, KY / AGILITYPR.NEWS / August 02, 2024 / Louisville, KY, August 1, 2024: PopCon Louisville, one of the most anticipated pop culture events this year, announces that Star Trek Actors Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, and Christina Chong will be at the Kentucky International Convention Center August 23-25, 2024.

These three recently came off San Diego’s Comic-Con and are now set to visit Louisville. Along with all the celebrity panels, live podcast recordings, magic showcases, and cosplay contests, there will be more to experience at PopCon Louisville.

Anson Mount: Anson Mount is the star of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Captain Christoper Pike). His breakout role came with the character of Cullen Bohannon in the AMC television series "Hell on Wheels," where Mount's nuanced portrayal of the troubled ex-Confederate soldier earned widespread acclaim from critics and fans alike. His powerful performance in "Hell on Wheels" solidified his status as a versatile and respected actor.

Ethan Peck: Ethan Gregory Peck is an American actor. He is the grandson of actor Gregory Peck and Greta Kukkonen, Peck's first wife. In 2019, he played a young Spock in Star Trek: Discovery, a role he has reprised for the television series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Peck co-starred with Adam Rothenberg and Mariah Carey in the 2008 film Tennessee, followed by a co-starring role opposite Peter Coyote and Bebe Neuwirth in Adopt a Sailor. For his portrayal of Sailor, he won the award for "Best Actor" at the 2009 Sonoma International Film Festival.

Christina Chong: Christina Chong is an international television and film actress who stars in the CBS series "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" as series regular 'La'an Noonien-Singh,' alongside Anson Mount and Rebecca Romijn. The series expanded on the iconic franchise, with six new crew members on the USS Enterprise alongside its familiar trio of lead characters. The series returns for its second season in June and has already been picked up for a third season. Alongside acting, Christina is following her musical passion with a debut EP titled "Twin Flames," which will be released this month.

Along with the Star Trek Team, the following special guests will be featured at PopCon Louisville.

Grand Theft Auto actors: Steven Ogg: He is an acclaimed Canadian voice and motion capture artist for the hit game Grand Theft Auto V (2013) in the role of Trevor Philips. He was nominated for the role at numerous events, including a VGX nomination for Best Voice Actor. Before fame, He first appeared on screen as part of a promotion for the National Film Board of Canada. Best known for The Walking Dead (Simon) and Better Call Saul.

Shawn Solo: Shawn Darnell Fonteno, also known as Solo, is an American actor and rapper. He is best known for playing Franklin Clinton in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V. In addition to his portrayal of Franklin Clinton, Fonteno has acted in films like The Wash.

Ned Luke: Ned Luke was born on 4 October 1958 in Danville, Illinois, USA. He is an actor and writer known for Grand Theft Auto V (2013), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and Boardwalk Empire (2010). He has been married to Amy Sax since 12 November 1997. They have one child.

Phineas and Ferb’s Actors:

Olivia Olson: Olson was born on May 21, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is an actress and writer known for Adventure Time (2010), Love Actually (2003), and Red Nose Day Actually (2017).

Davide Erringo: Erringo is known for Ridley Jones (2021), Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe (2020), and Tiny Toons Looniversity (2023).

Stranger Things:

Grace Van Dien: Grace Van Dien is an American actress and director best known for Stranger Things, The Village, Charlie Says, and the remake of Sleeping Beauty.

Mason Dye: Actor known for Strange Things, Teen Wolf, and Flowers in the Attic.
