TecAlliance, known worldwide as the primary source of vehicle parts related data, will once again be exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham, showcasing from stand P150 in hall 19, its ever growing portfolio of services and solutions for multiple sectors of the aftermarket from parts manufacturers and suppliers, to wholesalers and installers.
“There are several notable additions to the options we can now provide that have not previously been seen in the UK,” explained Shaun Greasley, TecAlliance’s General Manager UK & Ireland, Regional Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe. “This means that we have several new solutions to demonstrate in addition to our familiar products, such as the TecDoc Catalogue, Europe’s leading electronic replacement parts identification resource, which has been updated to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the TecDoc Standard, the Order Manager, our order-to-invoice eCommerce platform and Repair & Maintenance Information, the comprehensive technical service data system.
“For visiting wholesalers and installers, the primary interest will naturally be on our TecDoc Catalogue and the 3.0 upgrade that was introduced in January. With this improvement, has come a greater integration of vehicle manufacturer compliant repair and maintenance information, which allows users to access the replacement parts directly relevant to the service operation being undertaken, as well as its associated labour times. In tandem, the new design has brought with it an easier and more intuitive user experience that has further improved both the speed and accuracy of the search functions, particularly benefitting busy motor factors handling multiple enquiries.
“The new products include our new Demand Dashboard, which allows parts manufacturers to tailor their product portfolio to the requirements of their target market through, among other things, the real-time search behaviour of TecDoc Catalogue users, so providing reliable demand analytics, from which to ensure they have an optimised replacement parts offering. We are confident that this addition, alongside the other developments within the Data Manager suite, will make the prospect of becoming a data supplier an even more attractive proposition.
“As the frontline UK team, both Key Accounts Manager, Jason Meade and myself will be on hand to welcome visitors, but we will be ably supported by several of our European colleagues, many of whom will be familiar faces to our longer term customers and those from the aftermarket community who made the trip to Automechanika Frankfurt last September.”
