The Pinnacle Businesses Offering Sensory-Friendly Experiences

Bristol, TN — Two businesses within The Pinnacle—the region’s premier shopping destination—will be offering special environmental considerations for families with sensory-sensitive members.  Old Navy and the Pinnacle 12 Theater will both be providing a safe and positive experience for their guests with sensory-sensitivity.

Old Navy will be offering special hours for back-to-school sensory shopping this Saturday, August 10th from 8am to 10am. The store will offer adjusted lighting and music volumes, as well as focused sensory-sensitivity from staff. Old Navy is happy to offer these kinds of events to allow families to have a positive shopping experience within their store.

The Pinnacle 12 Theater—a Marquee Cinemas facility—is also offering special family-friendly sensory showings of popular movies. These special showings include; lower audio levels, brighter ambient lighting, open captioning, freedom to move around during the movie, invitation to talk, clap and sing during the movie, and special matinee pricing. The sensory-friendly showings will take place the second Saturday of each month at 11am. This Saturday, Aug 10th, will have a sensory-friendly showing of Disney’s The Lion King
