UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / March 17, 2026 / Loughborough-based teamwear specialist KitKing is bringing Nike to Trent Rockets, with the local team set to wear the iconic swoosh in The Hundred under a new multi-year partnership. The agreement places Nike branding on both the men’s and women’s playing kits for 2026 and beyond, launched just in time for the Rockets to prepare for the exciting upcoming season.
Nike is set to provide matchday and training kits for the Rockets, with the team’s bold yellow and red colours now carrying the instantly recognisable swoosh design for which the brand is famous. The new strip will be unveiled ahead of this summer’s tournament, with supporters able to purchase their own shirts from Trent Bridge retail stores.
“With their richly deserved reputation as one of the world’s most prestigious sports brands, it feels entirely fitting for Trent Rockets to be wearing the Nike Swoosh as we look to take the team to the next level this summer," said Lisa Pursehouse, Chief Executive of Trent Rockets.
"The sea of yellow and red in the stands at Rockets home games has been really striking ever since The Hundred began, and we're looking forward to unveiling the evolution of those unmistakable Rockets colours."
Dips Patel, CEO of KitKing, feels the partnership reflects both the ambition of the Rockets franchise and the strength of the sporting community across the East Midlands. “Trent Rockets have built a fantastic identity since The Hundred began, and bringing Nike into that story is a big step forward for the team”, he says. “With KitKing being based in Leicestershire, this is particularly special for us. We’re proud to work with clubs across the UK and internationally but helping to connect a global brand with a team in our own East Midlands region is something we couldn’t be more thrilled about.”
KitKing’s role in bringing Nike to the Rockets underlines the significant yet often overlooked contribution regional businesses continue to make in top-level sport. From its base in Loughborough, the company works with clubs and national governing bodies across a range of sports, helping major clubs partner up with prolific global brands while maintaining strong ties to their local sporting grassroots communities.
The Hundred has quickly become one of the most visible competitions in world cricket, attracting international stars and drawing packed crowds to venues around the country each summer. As the Rockets gear up for the 2026 season - with the first double header scheduled for 21 July, and the final set for 16 August - the arrival of the familiar Nike logo reflects the continued momentum of Trent Rockets and their ambitions both on and off the field.
The Rockets’ first game for both the men's and women's teams will take place on 24 July, with Trent Bridge hosting on 26 July, 2 August, 5 August, and 10 August. Register interest now at: www.thehundred.com/register-2026.
