• Spin to Win! 10 free haircuts given out each hour at 12, 1, 2 and 3pm.
• We will have a prize wheel, with Free Haircut as an option in some of the slots. Attendees will line up to spin until we have given out all 10, at which time that option will be removed until the next hour allotment, or until given go ahead from Headliners to accept more winners
• Headliners will have 3 stylists, and JC Penney will have 3 stylists, to help with overflow
• Cuts from the JC Penney stylists are being donated by them, they will be included as an option for the prize wheel win to simplify the process. I will coordinate this with Ursula at the check-in table
• Prize wheel will stay out for chance to win other TFCU swag
• Shop the Box! All donated school supplies will be organized in boxes, and attendees can “shop” for (grab) an item from each box. We will have tote bags, and other vendors are giving out backpacks

This year, donations were collected at every TFCU branch across Tucson, with donation boxes collecting new school supplies and monetary contributions through July 15. 

Both members and non-members are welcome to give: donors can drop off a cash donation in person at any branch, and members may also ask a branch representative to transfer funds directly from their account into a special holding account established for the drive. All donations must be made in person at a branch location.

Vouchers for the free haircuts will be distributed in collaboration with a local youth-serving nonprofit organization (to be announced), ensuring these back-to-school boosts reach the families who need them most.

We are grateful to our members, community partners, and branch teams for helping make this possible, and we encourage anyone who can give to do so before the July 15 deadline.”

The event is part of TFCU's broader Back-to-School Week initiative, with family-friendly events planned across Tucson.
