UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 20, 2026 / SAN FRANCISCO, October 20, 2026: WebRun today launched its AI business automation platform for business owners, startup founders and small teams. Its AI agents automate the recurring work a team does across customer service, sales, finance and operations, inside the web tools the business already uses. Developers can use the same agent computers through WebRun's API and MCP server.
Owners and founders set up agents by describing a job in plain language, recording their screen while doing it once, or choosing a workflow template. Each agent works on its own computer in the cloud, clicking and typing inside web tools such as Gmail, HubSpot, Salesforce, QuickBooks and Xero, on a schedule the business sets. The team's own computers do not need to stay on.
The agents use each tool the way a person does: they look at the screen, then click and type. That lets them work in tools with no API or connector, such as an in-house admin system or a supplier's portal.
Teams can assign agents to recurring work across departments, including:
For longer jobs, a business owner can give an agent a work list, such as 40 leads to follow up with. The agent processes one item at a time, tracking what is complete, what comes next and anything it skipped.
Owners and founders also set rules for which websites agents can visit and which actions they may take. WebRun's Automation Policies check proposed clicks, typing and navigation before execution. An action set to require approval pauses the run for the owner's decision through Telegram or WhatsApp. Each run is recorded so the team can review what happened.
For developers, WebRun offers the same infrastructure through a REST API and MCP server.
WebRun has been deploying agentic AI since 2023. In 2024, the company released AiPlix, an AI web browser, on Google Play. The new platform applies that experience to recurring business work and developer automation.
"Business owners and founders should be able to delegate a job, set the boundaries and know what happened," said Maged Gamani, founder of WebRun. "We built WebRun so a small team can put recurring work on a schedule across its existing tools. Developers can build on the same infrastructure for their own products."
